Adhering to the mission of "Developing Outstanding Whole-person and Global-Local Talents People can Trust and Work with", Shanghai University's MBA(SHUMBA) has three core education features, that is 1) all-round and whole-person development, 2) Global Local, and 3) Integrate Knowledge and Action into Intelligence through ECO compact. SHUMBA believes that, the business leader of the future should possess not only personal integrity and business ethics, but also excellent business professionalism and leadership. They should always pursue an effective balance between environmental protection, sustainable development, and corporate interest optimization in their business decision-making and management process.

To pursue our mission and cultivate talents meeting needs of future society, we believe we couldn't make it without participation of global and local community and corporate organizations in our education. That's why we raise the ECO compact, which means "Education-Community-Organizations" work together to develop future leaders.

Following the "Man leadership" and "Women Leadership" ECO-Forums held in 2012, we are glad to announce that Shanghai University MBA Center, together with Swedish Trade Council, will conduct the 3rd Leadership Forum-Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability on Jan.20th 2013 at Shanghai with representatives from leading countries and corporations to talk about competency issues of sustainable development.
