MBA Graduation Ceremony

ECNU MBA Graduation Ceremony for class 2017 was held successfully in Siqun Auditorium of Zhongbei campus on the morning of June 23, 2019. ECNU Professional Degree Education Center was honored to have the presence of deputy president of ECNU, Prof Zhou Aoying to perform the tassel-turning ritual on a personal basis with MBA students at the ceremony. Prof Zhou also delivered an inspiring commencement speech in an emotionally-involved manner, urging MBA students to apply what they have learned at ECNU to the corporate world or start up their own businesses and contribute to the society in whatever ways they can manage. Additional speakers at the event include supervisor representative, graduate representative, and alumni representative, etc. Almost all the students from ECNU MBA Class 2017 attended the ceremony and witnessed their own transition from fresh MBA student candidates to promising and knowledgeable MBA graduates.

MBA Professors’ Workshop Forum

On the afternoon of June 16, a forum titled “Making Entrepreneurship More Professional” with ECNU FEM professors was hosted on campus by PDEC in partnership with ECNU National University Science Park. Over 20 respectable professors and experts, along with CPC Commission leaders were invited to attend the event. Participants exchanged views in length on topics ranging from workshop establishment, entrepreneurship and innovation work, to corporate management and development, etc. Prof Lan Faqin from PDEC introduced the founding origin and development path of the workshop and emphasized its function as a non-profit platform aimed at promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. An agreement was reached at the forum to continue to give full play to the professors’ workshop and provide students with guidance and consulting services in the process of starting up new and emerging businesses.
